It sounds strange, but on weekends this place can be fun -- the only place in town with a DJ and a dance floor. As with any place in Guerneville, weeknights are like a local Fellini movie, but weekends are a mix of tourists, and much more lively.

When I went, it was pretty quiet inside, but started picking up as the night progressed. The bartender was very friendly and asked my straight roommate and I if we wanted to enter a gogo dancing contest. I balked, but my roomie was all about it, and I somehow got conned into entering as well. Needless to say, it was a pretty memorable experience. The drinks were great and pretty strong and like most bear bar type places, the crowd was very friendly.
