The Triple R is a gay institution in Guerneville, a glorified motel where the action all happens (esp. on special event weekends). The rooms are clean and decent, but the pool party scene (Spring and Summer) and the late night bar crowd might make it a bit noisier than you might like if you're looking for a peaceful getaway. The restaurant and bar are both good and friendly.

Location, Location, Location

3R is all about location. It's in the heart of Guerneville, w/i easy walking distance to the Rainbow Cattle Co. & Club Yamagata. Also easy walk to local restaurants and the Safeway. The pool is the place to be in the afternoons. Bar has karaoke and some live performances. Down side is that the rooms can be noisy, especially if you're near the bar. Best to ask for a room near the back of the property. But you're not really there to sleep, are you?

Hotel rooms are very run down

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend; it was my 3rd, 4th holiday in Russian River and second one staying at the RRR. I stayed in the same room that I was in 4 years ago and I don't think it had seen a coat of paint in that time. Dirty and dusty furniture, cobwebs all over, grungy looking bathtub and a holey comforter on the bed. The housekeeper did find a slightly better comforter after I complained on the first day. I also told the front desk people about how dirty the room was and the promised a "deep cleaning" - that never happened. No coffee pot, no cups, all for $240 a night plus energy surcharge and tax. My friends rented an entire house for the same price, next time I will stay somewhere else in Guerneville as well. The daytime pool scene is still great, the bar and restaurant are average or better. The website says the rooms are 100% remodeled, so either the website hasn't been updated in many years (which I doubt) or they are just flat lying.

Amazing place, very clean, staff is so friendly,the music is great and the drink's are cold and the food is yummi. If you wanna spend a Chill-Out weekend with your boy/girlfriend or just with some friends, this is the place to be.
