The Woods is a very low-key, quiet, gay-friendly place to stay. You can choose from multi-room suites with kitchens to the budget-priced bunkhouse rooms (totally acceptable). The large pool is clothing-optional (I option for Speedos myself) and it can be a nice break from the Triple R scene which can be more lively and noisy. Great, friendly staff.

stayed there one night and checked out....items missing from our room while we went to dinner....I discovered one of the owners, Verna Preaseal is a convicted felon....SAVE YOURSELF FROM MISERY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

In town exceptionally clean and clothing optional

A comfortable, friendly, quiet location yet in the heart of Guerneville. Michael runs the beat lodging in the area. They even have wireless Internet.

My boyfriend and I liked it there twice.

We enjoyed staying there so much we went back twice. Both times that we stayed at the Woods was very relaxing. We met people from all over the country staying there. It is not a party resort, but still can have a fun time talking to the other guests.
